Tip 1: Use Water To Make Your Hairs Soft

The first tip is to use water to make your hair soft. When your hairs are soft, it will be easier to put the headphones on and keep them in place. You can use water in a few different ways: you can put water in your hair, you can use a spray bottle to spritz your hair with water, or you can use a leave-in conditioner. I prefer to use a leave-in conditioner because it helps to detangle my hair and makes it softer.

Tip 2: Use Gel For Your Hairs

The second tip is to use gel on your hair. This will help keep the headphones in place because it makes your hairs stick together and also helps to keep the headphones from slipping out of place. I recommend using a strong gel that you can work into your hair but not too strong that it coats your hair. Typically, I use about a dime-sized amount of gel and work it into my hair before wearing headphones. You can also put it in your hair after you’ve put the headphones on if they start to slip out of place while you’re working.

Tip 3: Pull Your Hair Back And Use A Headband

The third tip is simply pulling your hair back in a ponytail or bun and then using a headband to hold it. This can work if you’re wearing casual headphones, but this will not work if you’re wearing serious time headphones. I really like this method because it keeps my hair out of the way when I’m working (which is important because I have a lot of hair!), but it’s easy to still use headphones for listening to music.

Tip 4: Don’t Purchase Headphones That Stretch

The fourth tip is not to purchase headphones that stretch. I have found that some headphones don’t stay on my head very well because they are made of material that will stretch out if your hair is wet or slippery. If you are looking to purchase new headphones, I recommend checking the product page before buying them to ensure they will not stretch out when worn with long hair.

Tip 5: Shorten your hairs

The fifth tip is to shorten your hair. This will save you from damaging your hair.

Headphones will rub against your hair and cause friction. This can lead to breakage or split ends, which make your hair look frizzy, dry, and unhealthy. The second thing that can happen is that if you’re wearing headphones for an extended period (i.e., 8 hours+), it may pull on your hair and cause it to stretch. This can lead to hair loss and even bald patches. So, if you’re someone who wears headphones often and has long hair, I would recommend shortening your hair or tying it back so that it’s out of the way.

What Damage headphones can do to your hair?

You should be aware of a few things when it comes to wearing headphones and your hair.

First of all, headphones can damage your hair by pulling on it and causing split ends. They can also cause greasy build-up at the roots of your hair and can even lead to hair loss over time.

The best way to avoid this is by wrapping your headphones around your earbuds rather than putting them on top of your head. This will let you enjoy listening to music and podcasts without having to worry about ruining your hairstyle or causing damage.

Final Words:

The key to wearing headphones with long hair is to use a strong enough gel that will stay in place but not too strong as it may damage your hair. The most important thing you can do for yourself is shortened the length of your hair before putting on any headphones. This will help prevent tension and breakage from occurring over time. In addition, if you’re going to be listening with serious quality headphones or even casual ones, make sure they are wrapped around your earbuds rather than sitting atop them!  If all else fails and none of these tips work for you.
